About our Pueblo West insulation contractor

Spray foam covers the roof underside in a timber attic with yellow cables and a metal ventilation unit.

How I ended up in your attic

I spent every summer through school on an insulation crew, so I'd been in more attics than most people before I could drive. I started this company in Pueblo West in 2017, and attics haven't gotten any more pleasant since. We're best known for attics and air sealing done in the right order, which mostly means fixing what's wrong before anything gets covered, because insulation is very good at hiding problems.

Most of our calls come from homeowners, with some property managers and shop owners mixed in, here and in Pueblo, Cañon City, Fountain, Stratmoor and other cities nearby. A project in Pueblo West can involve both the Metro District and Pueblo County, so when your job needs a permit we check which office covers your address and pull it ourselves. The county expects anyone you hire for construction work to be licensed or registered, and we're licensed and fully insured. Everything we do is listed on our home page.

What working with us looks like

  • I look at your house myself

I come out to see the job, and if your house needs less than you called about, that's what you'll hear. Foam costs more and seals air while it insulates, but sealing the gaps and topping up the loose fill usually wins unless your ductwork runs through the attic.

  • We find what insulation would hide

Old wiring, a bad flue, wet wood or a layer soaked or full of droppings gets fixed or flagged before anything new goes over it. Once it's covered, nobody looks at it again until it's a bigger problem.

  • A plain estimate you can read

Your estimate is free, done on site and written in plain words, with what we'll do and in what order, and there's no obligation to book. Send us a note or call (719) 601-8073 and we'll reply within one business day.

How we handle the work

  1. Look first

We check how many inches are already up there and what shape they're in before anyone talks about material.

  2. Seal the gaps

We close the gaps around can lights, pipes and the hatch first, because insulation laid over a draft just ends up fighting it.

  3. Keep vents open

We keep the eave vents clear so the attic can still breathe and moisture doesn't settle into the framing.

  4. Cover the edges

We work the edges as carefully as the middle, since thin coverage out by the eaves is where houses usually lose the most.

  5. Tell you when

We tell you when you, the kids and the pets can come back inside, and our installers clean up before they go.
